Sweepstakes, Promotions, and Online Checks

1. Data Controller

The data controller for data processing in connection with sweepstakes, promotions, and the Forklift Efficiency Check is:

2. Data We Collect

As part of the sweepstake and Forklift Efficiency Check, we collect the following personal data:

• First name, last name
• Email address
• Company
• Phone number (optional)
• Information about your forklift fleet (quantity, location, brands, age, drive type, shift operation, challenges)

3. Purpose and Legal Basis

Sweepstake: Your data is processed to carry out the sweepstake (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract). This includes participant registration, winner determination, and notification of winners.

Forklift Efficiency Check: Your fleet data is processed to create and send your personal evaluation (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – consent). You may revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future.

Marketing: With your optional consent, we send you information about products, solutions, and events by email (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may revoke this consent at any time.

4. Double Opt-In Procedure

After submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation email (double opt-in). Your participation only becomes effective after clicking the confirmation link. Without confirmation, your data will not be further processed and will be automatically deleted.

5. Data Recipients

To carry out the sweepstake and email communication, we use the service Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Berlin). Brevo processes your data on our behalf pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. No data transfer to third countries takes place.

6. Data Retention

Your data will be deleted after the sweepstake concludes and all contractual obligations have been fulfilled, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Data processed on the basis of your consent will be deleted upon revocation.
